Designed and delivered within just 14 days, this rapid response medical facility was created during a critical moment to support frontline healthcare teams with a safe efficient and controlled treatment environment.

Developed using Hybrid Cargotecture’s advanced container engineering approach, the unit externalised emergency treatment operations from the main hospital building, helping reduce exposure risks while maintaining structured patient flow. The design focuses on clarity hygiene and operational efficiency, allowing doctors nurses and support staff to perform their duties within a calm organised medical setting.

Key Features of the COVID-19 ETU Triage Unit

• Surgical Grade Emergency Treatment Area: Designed to accommodate up to six ETU beds, creating a ready to operate emergency treatment space.
• Contactless Examination Area: A glass enclosed observation zone allows medical teams to identify examine and monitor patients from a safe distance of approximately ten feet, reducing unnecessary exposure and minimizing PPE dependency.
• Integrated Isolation Area: Includes a dedicated isolation section with an attached washroom to prevent cross contamination and maintain patient safety.
