20ft Hybrid Chalet
Ideal for an estate retreat, garden room or modern compact living. We can plan the glazing, washroom and covered deck around how you want to use it. Our Hiriketiya chalet shows one finished example.

40ft & Combined Container Homes
For a larger home, we can plan a 40ft or combined layout with separate living and sleeping areas. Our Rajagiriya project shows how two 40ft high-cube containers created a two-storey home with a balcony and sheltered ground floor.
Hospitality
Resort & Hotel Chalets
If you are planning guest accommodation, we can combine a bedroom, bathroom, generous glazing and outdoor seating in one unit. Our Ella chalet gives you an example to discuss for your property.

Can I build a home from a 20ft or 40ft container?
Yes. We can use a 20ft container for a compact chalet or guest space and a 40ft or combined arrangement for a larger home. We will recommend a layout after reviewing your room needs and site.
Can HCD build a two-storey container home?
Yes. Our Rajagiriya home uses two 40ft high-cube containers across two storeys. We will review the structure, foundations, stairs and required approvals for your proposal.
Can a chalet include a washroom and deck?
Yes. We can include a private washroom, large glazed openings and an outdoor deck. Our Hiriketiya and Ella projects show examples. We will specify the fit-out for your site and budget.
How is heat managed inside a container home?
We can combine roof shading, insulation, ventilation, glazing placement and interior lining. We will recommend measures for your location and how you plan to use the space.
What affects the price and timeline?
Your size, layout, finishes, washrooms, decks, foundations, delivery access and approvals affect cost and timing. We can quote once we understand your site and agree on the scope.
